Woodthorpe Community Primary School

Woodthorpe Community Primary School is one of the largest schools in the local area, with extensive grounds to accommodate the large number of pupils at the school. It is important for the school to have regular maintenance, particularly during the summer months, so that the children can utilise the outdoor space to its full potential.

Woodthorpe School Grounds Maintenance

We have been working with the school for the last seven years and pride ourselves on delivering a consistently high standard of maintenance within the budget constraints across the school grounds. Having used Green Estate the school is keen to appoint us as their reliable contractor of choice. The grounds maintenance team are highly attentive to the needs of the school, and are approachable and friendly so that the school feels able to make requests which we are always happy to fulfil. We attribute the strong relationship between our staff and clients as one of the key reasons for our high levels of customer satisfaction.

Green Estate offers a comprehensive grounds maintenance package for the school undertaking all groundsmaintenance tasks from grass mowing and hedge pruning, to sports day running tracks and pitch marking, leaf clearance and weed control. Working to a tight budget a typical annual contract would normally consist of 16 maintenance visits, although more visits allow for a higher frequency of cuts and neater appearance throughout the growing season. The purpose of the maintenance visits is primarily to keep the grounds looking tidy throughout the year with grass cuts during the spring and summer months and becoming more focused on pruning and leaf clearance in the winter months.
